INPRO India Private Limited – Research and Innovation Overview

INPRO India specializes in research and development (R&D) and innovation, with a primary focus on natural products–based cancer therapeutics and diagnostics, while also exploring other disease areas. Our mission is to translate plant-based wisdom and natural products into innovative healthcare solutions that improve patient outcomes.

Our research workflow begins with collection and study of underexplored plant species, including marine sources, followed by:

  1. Herbarium Preparation and DNA Barcoding – Accurate documentation and molecular authentication of plant species.
  2. Microscopy – Confocal Laser Scanning Microscopy (CLSM)/Super Resolution Microscopy/Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM)/Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM)/Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM)/Cryogenic Electron Microscopy (Cryo-EM) for structural and cellular studies.
  3. Extraction and Maceration – Preparation of crude extracts from plant materials.
  4. Bioactivity-Guided Fractionation – Isolation of biologically active fractions for therapeutic potential.
  5. Cytotoxicity Assays – Screening for anti-cancer or bioactive effects in vitro.
  6. Analytical Profiling and Identification – Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS), Ultra High-Performance Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (UHPLC-MS), Global Natural Products Social Molecular Networking (GNPS), and other techniques for compound identification.
  7. Isolation of Compounds – Using Column Chromatography, Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC), and Analytical/Preparative HPLC.
  8. Characterization – Using UV-Vis spectroscopy, Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR 1D & 2D), High-Resolution Mass Spectrometry (HRMS), and molecular docking studies.
  9. Flow Cytometry and FRET (Fluorescence Resonance Energy Transfer) – Cellular analysis and molecular interaction studies.
  10. Microscopy – Confocal Laser Scanning Microscopy (CLSM)/Super Resolution Microscopy/Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM)/Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM)/Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM)/Cryogenic Electron Microscopy (Cryo-EM) for structural and cellular studies.
  11. Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) – Genomic and transcriptomic insights.
  12. CRISPR (Clustered Regularly Interspaced Short Palindromic Repeats) Gene Editing – Functional validation of targets.
  13. 3D Cell Culture Systems – Organoids and spheroids for physiologically relevant models.
  14. Patient-Derived Xenograft (PDX) Models – Translational cancer research for preclinical validation.
